European sprivate equity firm Alpina Partners has invested in German software company New Solutions.
New Solutions was founded in 1999 and provides software solutions for the digitalization of business processes on the shop floor. Its products and services include Finito, Checkware and Synoset and its customers are major businesses as well as small and medium sized enterprises.
The company’s founder Christian Ehrenschwendtner will stay on board as a managing director and shareholder.
Alpina’s investment will be used to grow the firm’s product and service portfolio both through organic growth and through add-on acquisitions as part of a buy and build strategy.

By expanding the software portfolio, we have the opportunity to offer our customers even more comprehensive solutions and services.”

Alpina has approximately €300 million in assets under management.
