Private equity firm Inflexion has sold Cawood Scientific, which provides agriculture and environmental testing services, to Waterland Private Equity.
Cawood provides analytical sampling and testing services for the agronomy, livestock, agrochemical and environmental renewables sectors and currently serves over 3,000 customers.
The firm is headquartered in Berkshire and has five laboratories and a sampling business. It employs 350 people.
Inflexion backed the management buyout of Cawood Scientific in 2017 and since then the business has made three acquisitions and expanded into new markets.
