Private equity firm Main Capital has invested nearly €50 million (£44.9 million) in business process management specialist GBTEC to acquire a 51% stake in the business.
GBTEC is headquartered in Germany and provides business process management, integrated risk management and IT management software and consulting services in the DACH region. Its BIC Cloud tool offers modelling, analysis, optimisation and automation of business processes.
It has more than 700 customers, including stockmarket-listed companies, public authorities and medium-sized companies as well as global corporations. Daimler, insurance group HDI and various German federal ministries are amongst its customers.
