IK exits animal hygiene business CID Lines

European private equity firm IK Investment Partners has sold animal hygiene business CID Lines to Ecolab Inc.

CID Lines was founded in Belgium in 1989 to provide disinfectants for combatting infectious animal diseases. Today its product range includes veterinary medicinal products as well as an extensive range of biosecurity solutions for disinfection and cleaning procedures in farming environments.

IK acquired CID Lines in January 2016 and since then the business has continued to grow strongly.
