Leadership & private equity are the only two ingredients we have from which to cook up a storm. With so few ingredients there is no hiding place.
We ensure our clients have access to the right leaders, we provide leaders & investors with the right evidential insights & we are agile in the services we offer; pre deal, post deal & in flight.
Drax are the most focussed leadership experts supporting the private equity sector.
We believe that leadership in management teams ultimately follows that of the natural world. Elephants, who are among the most intelligent animals we share the planet with, have a highly developed & sophisticated leadership structure honed through thousands of years of evolution.
They are majestic, powerful & nurturing of their extended families not unlike the majority of growing organisations. Unfortunately they are hugely threatened & Drax is proud to support Save the Elephants as one of its nominated charities.

Chief Executive Officer
I spend my time understanding the different challenges our clients face throughout the life cycle of a deal and identifying areas where I believe we as a company can make a positive contribution. The deal life cycle within private equity creates a binary scorecard where theirs a start, finish and ultimately result. It’s a great backdrop to work within as it provides a constant readout as to the impact we are able to make to our clients, allowing opportunity for us to improve.
Ultimately I love what we do and remain excited by the prospect that the new capabilities we are developing will have for the leadership teams of private equity backed businesses.
When not working I accept the challenge, as every parent does, of entwining family life with my own interests in conservation & cricket and a willing participant in picking up one or two more, (lacrosse and netball).
